WestCoast Wild Adventures FAQ
Can anyone go on the zip line and kayak tours?
Our zip line has a minimum weight requirement of 80lbs (280lbs max) and our kayak tours have a minimum age of 14. A reasonable level of fitness and agility is required in the platform access areas of the zip line where stairs and ladders are used. People can expect to carry their kayaks and maneuver through varying rocky conditions along the river as the water volume changes throughout the year. There are a number of gravel bars that may need to be portaged. For your maximum enjoyment please consider any prior or current injuries before committing to either of these tours.
What is your refund policy?
Upon booking your trip, you have committed to the adventure. We zip and kayak rain or shine. However, in the event that WE cancel a trip due to HIGH WINDS or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control a refund will be given.
I’ve booked and therefore committed to the trip but am physically unable to go, what do I do?
Your tickets are transferrable and available for resale. The only catch is that the tickets are only good for the date and time stated on the ticket. You may re-sell your ticket to any interested parties.
What should I bring with me for the trips?
For the zip line, bring a comfortable pair of shoes. No sandals or flip-flops please. For clothing, wear light functional outdoor clothing that won’t get caught in the line or restrict your vision. For the Kayak trip, a wetsuit, splash top, helmet and PFD are provided so bring a swim suit and running shoes. Additional clothing items for warmth will be available for cooler, wetter days. This first year WestCoast Wild will not have drinks or snack available on site, so please bring your own drinks and snacks for before and after your tours. Thanks for bearing with us.
